ABOUT ATTUNEMENT

Building for the people who make sense of complex care.

Based in San Francisco, we’re a small team building technology that makes complex medical records easier to assemble, understand, and verify.

THE PEOPLE

Meet the team behind the work.

Meet the team behind the work.

Different backgrounds, one shared goal: building thoughtful technology for the realities of clinical work.

01 / FOUNDER & CEO

Angelia Muller

Angie has long been interested in what helps people live well, shaped by her studies in Applied Neuroscience and Psychology. Working closely with clinicians, she saw how much time and energy is lost to inefficient, repetitive work—and how that contributes to burnout. She founded Attunement to build technology that gives clinicians more time for the work that matters most: caring for people.

02 / FOUNDING TECHNICAL LEAD

James Thomson

James' path into healthcare started in high school, when his mother went through a series of life-saving surgeries, and a post-concussion syndrome diagnosis left him with headaches and no effective treatment. These experiences taught him the importance of good care, and how much is still unsolved. He went on to earn an M.S. in Bioengineering at Stanford, and has since contributed to biomedical research, FDA-cleared medical devices and clinical software.

03 / FOUNDING PRODUCT DESIGNER

Charisse Yeh

Before moving into product design, Charisse spent years in healthcare settings—contributing to published liver cancer research, working at UCLA Health, and volunteering in community clinics serving low-income populations in Venice Beach. Those experiences shaped a lasting interest in building products that address real human needs. She now brings that perspective to her work with clinicians and mission-driven technology.

04 / FOUNDING ENGINEER

Kyle Combs

Kyle is a software engineer with experience building digital solutions in climate tech, logistics, and healthcare. His first foray into healthcare was during the COVID pandemic, when he co-developed a mobile app for doctors with the Prakash Lab at Stanford University. Having spent years navigating the healthcare system himself, he brings firsthand knowledge of the practical realities of care for patients and clinicians.
